Surf Jumble

I will be attending the Surf Jumble with some art for sale and a few old boards as well. It is on this saturday so if anyone is going to be in the area pop in and say hello it should be fun. it all starts at 10am.

Landscapes

Here is a batch of paintings I've done for a local restaurant, The View at Whitsand Bay, go sample the food you won't be disappointed. All these pictures are of views of beaches in South East Cornwall. I've used a different technique from normal and used knives and fingers. I like how they've turned out.

Art Show

This Saturday 21st Novemeber the good folks at Drift magazine are having an art show above the howies shop in Bristol, Queens St. There will be a host of artists from the drift collective and I will have some of my work on display. The show starts at 11 am and goes until 6pm and after there is a party, so anyone who wants to go please just turn up on the day, it's going to be good :)

Ice Cube Classic

In January the local surf club holds a competition aptly named the Ice Cube Classic and I have designed the event poster. It normally gets good waves and you can get more details about the event on www.southeastcornwallsurfclub.com.

2 Tree Point

Had a vision in my mind of a perfect point break and this was the painting that came from that. I've painted this subject a few times and this is one of the finished pieces. A diptych onto canvas with spray paint, oil and acrylic.

Designs

Sorry have'nt posted for a while but the darker nights are due and I get more art related stuff done then. Here are some designs I've created for various people. They all start as sketched roughs then I add colours with the computer.

Utopic Art

Here is a Blog Header I designed for Utopia Surfboards. The art started as a rough sketch and then I added the colours on the computer. The Utopia Surfboard factory is based in Mimizan, France, and they specialise in excellent surfboards. There is a link on my links page to the blog and check out their other site The Glide Collective.
