Bright Drips

Inspired by the good light of California this is a piece I completed on my return. This painting had been in the loop for a fair few months so it was good to take that inspiration from the West Coast and get to work.

Just a small random selection of some photos from my California trip. I took lots of pictures and met many people who will be inspiring me in the forthcoming months. The UK was under a blanket of snow and these temperatures felt like one of our summers.

Sorry I've not posted for a while but I have been away surfing in California and caught some great waves. I will post some California pics at a later date, for now here is some more paintings I did from 2008. The bigger sunset painting is my local beach at Tregantle in South East Cornwall, and the other two rights are from various pics I take of the coastline around here.
